Today April 1st at 4pm, there are two (2) confirmed cases of Covid-19 and eight(8) pending results. There has been no change in the confirmed cases or pending results since the last dashboard update. 

One sample collected on Monday March 30th was sent to CARPHA for testing today. 

Today there are a total of 43 persons on quarantine; 40 on self quarantine and 3 at a government facility.

Persons in quarantine will no longer be required to be in quarantine if they meet one or more of the conditions below:

  • Any person who remained asymptomatic for 14 days from
    the last time they were exposed to a person with a
    laboratory confirmation of COVID-19.
  • Any person who remained asymptomatic for 14 days
    from the date of disembarkation from a country with
    widespread, ongoing transmission community
    transmission of COVID-19.
  • Any person while in quarantine who develops febrile
    illness or respiratory symptoms at any point during the
    quarantine period, they will then be treated and managed
    as a suspected case of COVID-19 and be transferred to
    isolation.
  • Any person who was in quarantine after being exposed to
    a suspected case and the suspected case received a
    negative COVID-19 result.

19 persons met one or more of the criteria for release from quarantine on Wednesday April 1st.
