Today Thursday April 2nd at 4pm, there are three(3) confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Anguilla.

This morning, the Ministry of Health received results of 7 samples sent for testing on Monday March 30th. 1 sample was positive for COVID-19 while 6 were negative for COVID-19. 
We are awaiting the 1 pending result from a sample sent on Wednesday April 1st. 

Today there are a total of 27 persons on quarantine; 24 on self quarantine and 3 at a government facility.To note, 22 persons were removed from the self-quarantine list and 6 new persons were added.

Persons in quarantine are those whose separation and restriction of movement have been prohibited because of their possible exposure to COVID-19. However, these persons are currently healthy and do not show signs or have symptoms relating to COVID-19.

The Ministry reminds persons to continue to reduce the risk by:

  • Washing your hands for 20 seconds or more
  • Covering your coughs and sneezes with disposal tissue 
  • Practicing social distancing; avoiding crowds, staying at home (only leaving for exempted services) and maintaining a physical distance of 3-6 feet from others.
