CLARIFICATION TO COVID-19 Update

STARTS

H.E. the Governor and the Hon. Premier would like to provide clarification and correction to our statement made yesterday 26 August:

Correction:

1. Visitors staying at a hotel, resort or a licensed villa* for any length of stay will be tested on arrival, must remain on property until arrival test negative result is received. No requirement for a 4 day quarantine, but persons will be tested on day 4.

Clarification:

1. From 01 October, to help cover the cost associated with the testing regime, Executive Council agreed to implement a single testing fee of USD $200, which covers the arrival test and Day 4 test for all visitors and fully vaccinated returning residents. This Day 4 test can be used for onward travel requirements at no additional fee. The entry and surveillance fee for un- vaccinated residents of USD $600 will remain.

*Villa licensed to operate as a villa rental business under the Villa Rental Business Regulations Act, R.S.A.c V30.
