UPDATE ON REPATRIATION

JUNE 9TH 2020

The Repatriation Team continues to make arrangements for the first “student returnee” flights later this week. This includes:

  • contacting all those returning to re-confirm their travel arrangements;
  • to check that they have completed and submitted all the forms that the Health Team need to prepare for their arrival and subsequent transfer to the appropriate quarantine Meanwhile the Team is also working on bringing back more Anguillians from the region, with several repatriation flights arriving this week. Progress to date As of June 9th 2020:
  • 412 persons located in 23 countries have registered their interest in returning to Anguilla
  • 311 applications have been processed and persons deemed eligible for return to Anguilla.
  • 14 people are currently under quarantine
  • 77 persons are expected to be repatriated this week. Of those persons returning, 58 will quarantined at a Government facility and the rest will quarantine at home.
